Kate
Armor's interest in antiques and their conservation began during her
five years with Mallett Antiques in London. Deciding to concentrate
on pictures, she completed a three year degree in Paper Conservation
at Camberwell College of Art. Since then she has received work from
all over Europe working for large private collections, museums and
galleries, auction houses and dealers.
Studio staff are
all graduates in paper conservation who bring a wide breadth of skills
and interests. They work closely together and constantly re-examine
their approach to conservation by discussing each project. Their knowledge
of the latest developments in materials and techniques is kept up-to-date
by attending conferences with fellow professional conservators.
Member of Thames
